zilverblauw’s decorations are on point for wes!
if you’ve been reading a while, you know i’m just mad for wes anderson and his very symmetrical, whimsical and made-up world. what about if i decorated the house for the holidays inspired by all that wes-like-whimsy? i’m thinking some cute, kitschy christmas decor might be just be the thing to lure mister anderson in. a girl can put that on her Christmas wish list to santa, can’t she? i think she can! let’s find some mistletoe, wes!
coco & kelley nailed it last year with this party decor. i wonder if wes showed up?
how about some reindeer games? a strand of these handsome reindeer lights from urban outfitters would be nice and festive; and, i could even dress up as a reindeer with this cute hoodie — wes totally loves woodland characters; and these Bottle Brush Christmas Sisal Trees are quite sweet decorations, too — he loves the woods, too.
i’ll bet wes would like to get our tree in this little car; i think it’s important i wrap all the presents in mendl’s boxes; and i think a mister fox ornament is probably a no-brainer;
more woodland creatures, some colorful logs and a disco ball — because it’s just weird enough for wes, via inside out magazine.
i’ll bet wes feels really jolly about bunting and miniature bottle brush trees.
i can tell that wes would love a faux white tinsel tree; vintage ornaments all the way for wes; silver mini tinsel trees for sure; and colorful bunting are big wes-pleasers.
and the pièce de ré·sis·tance? i’ll bet wes adores she & him. so how about some She & Him A Very She & Him Christmas music? magical holiday music to lure him in.
