there’s nothing quite as luxurious and divinely lackadaisical as reading in bed. it’s one of my favorite evening pastimes, and a nice way to shut down after a long day in the world of technology. my aunt once told me that on rainy weekends she would get up, change the sheets and then crawl back under the fresh bedding with a good book and a cup of tea. that always sticks with me and pops into my head on rainy days — the ultimate lazy day. i love a good library in a bedroom, too. built-in bookcases look beautiful, especially surrounding a bed, and a shelf stacked with books above the bed looks great. a long bench is a good idea for stacking books at the foot of your bed, too. here’s some lovely bedroom libraries — the perfect spot to idle away an afternoon.
