it's hard to imagine sitting down to decide on this colorful decor palette, but as is typical with the french savoir faire, this somehow all works. a design project of fusion D, this paris penthouse is an eclectic mix of color housed in a centuries old building, and it all looks quite modern and fresh, especially paired with that exquisite architecture. the challenge for the design firm was satisfying the client's contemporary taste in such a classically french apartment, complete with herringbone hardwood floors, coved ceilings and ornate crown mouldings, but i love the unexpected and somewhat scandinavian vibe. have a look.
