bring back those beach vibes.
i need a vacation. badly! i can usually tell it's time for a holiday when i'm immediately drawn to all things beachy on pinterest. i've been dreaming of heading back to tulum and realized i've been pinning all these images that have that sophisticated beach vibe - and for some reason lately, anytime i see 'fringe' - i think beach. i think it must have something to do with those palm frond beach umbrellas lined up along the shoreline in tulum. it was about a year ago that i was there, and i think it may be time to look into trip part two! in the meantime, let's create our own beach pad, shall we? bring on the fringe and everything else that gets my brain back to the beach.

staying neutral.
while you could call these rooms 'very neutral' or even, heaven forbid beige - they are anything but boring. and that's because the styling is spot-on - it's all in the small details. things like the interesting way they've paired their oddball collections, or how a very simple striped chair placed on an unusual tile floor becomes almost a study in unexpected pattern layering. a mix of textiles, like different throw pillows and area rugs that work really well together, and eclectic pairings of different period pieces just makes these rooms that much more interesting. nothing cookie-cutter, matchy-matchy here - much attention has been paid to all things big and small. simple color palettes for certain, but they all shine.

3 more home designs from Greg Natale…
What stuck out to me about this house is the lines. The lines of the furniture, the lines in the geometric patterns, the lines in the wallpaper. There are tons of shapes to keep your eyes moving and it's definitely a conversation starter. The coffee table's gunmetal colored tubed base echos in the wallpaper in the living room which looks like slashes.
Here is a one bedroom apartment full of fun modern details and far from boring…
Never seen so much brown wood in one of Greg's designs but it's done beautifully. It creates a very warm feeling. Red isn't ever one of my go to colors but when paired with camel, brown & gray tones, it has a pretty rich blend. See more of that house here.
